01 Day: Arrival Delhi - Nainital (350 Kms/07 hours)
Assistance on arrival at Delhi and drive directly to Nainital. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
02 Day: Nainital
After breakfast take a tour of Nainital visiting Khurpatal, Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal and Sattal. In the evening one can go for a boat ride at Naini Lake, visit Naini Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
03 Day: Nainital
After breakfast take an excursion to Mukteshwar-30 Kms, en-route visiting the sightseeing of Gagar, Ramgarh and Ghorakhal. Enjoy snowcapped mountain from Mukteshwar. Later in the evening return to Nainital. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
04 Day: Nainital - Kausani (110 Kms / 03 hours)
After breakfast depart for Kausani via Almora (known as Scenic View of Snow) visiting Kanchi Temple, Chitai Temple (known for justice) and Jageshwar temple - one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. In the evening arrive at the Kausani. Check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
05 Day: Kausani
Morning after breakfast visit the Kalika Temple, Bajinath and the Himalayas peak. Later visit Dwarka Ghat 55 temples, Jhula Devi, Binsar Mahadev, Majkhali, Sitalakhet, Gold Crouse. Later day is free for leisure and individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.
06 Day: Kausani - via Ranikhet - Corbett National Park (150 Kms/02 hours).
After breakfast checkout and drive to Corbett the most famous wild life sanctuary. Rest of the day free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
07 Day: Corbett National Park
Early morning enjoy jungle safari at the Corbett National Park. Return to the hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon again visit the National Park or rest of the day free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
08 Day: Corbett - New Delhi (282 Kms / 05 hours)
After breakfast checkout and depart for New Delhi. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the evening free for leisure and relaxation. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
09 Day: Delhi
After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Old & New Delhi.
Morning visit Old Delhi: The important places in Old Delhi include the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk and if time permits you can visit Raj Ghat the Memoir of Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon visit New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
10 Day: Delhi – Jaipur (260 Kms - 5 ½ hours):
After breakfast checkout & drive to Jaipur, on arrival transfer to hotel, day free to relax. Later in the evening one visit Birla Temple of White Marble and at the time of dinner visit Chokhi Dhani - an ethnic resort serving traditional Rajasthani cuisine with live music and puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to the hotel for overnight.
11 Day: Jaipur
After breakfast take an excursion tour to Amber Fort - 11kms, and enjoy elephant ride to ascend/ descend this great fort. Later take sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace, Hawa Mahal & Jantar Mantar Observatory all within the vicinity of City Palace. Later the day is free for shopping and individual activities. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
12 Day: Jaipur – Ranthambhor (180 Kms – 4 hours):
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Ranthambore. On arrival transfer to the jungle Resort. Time of leisure, early evening take a jungle safari of Ranthambhor wildlife Sanctuary, one of the best places in India to see a tiger in its natural habitat. After safari return back to the resort for overnight stay.
13 Day: Ranthambhor
Morning after breakfast, enjoy once again the jungle safari. Later visit Ranthambhor Fort over looking the National Park and Jogi Mahal. Also visit the famous Temple of Ganesha in the Fort. Rest of the evening free for leisure activities at the jungle resort. Overnight at Ranthambhor.
14 Day: Ranthambhor – Agra (280 kms – 5 hours)
After breakfast checkout & drive to Agra, enroute visiting Panch Mahal, Bulund Darwaza & Shrine of Shaikh Salim Chisti in the old Mughal Dynasty called Fatehpur Sikri, on arrival at Agra transfer to hotel. After freshen up take a sightseeing tour of Agra covering Agra Fort, Ittamuddaulahs Tomb & the Grand Taj Mahal. Evening free to venture into the handicrafts market of Agra. Overnight at the hotel.
15 Day: Agra – Varanasi (By Train)
Early morning visit the Taj Mahal to see it over the sunrise. Full day free for shopping & individual activities. Later in the evening checkout and drive to Agra railway station to board your scheduled train for Varanasi. Overnight on the train.
16 Day: Varanasi
Morning assistance at arrival at Varanasi railway station, transfer to the hotel. After some relaxation explore the Varanasi by taking an excursion to Sarnath, located at 10 Kms from Varanasi where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; visit at Dharmarajika Stupa, Dhamekh Stupa - the place where Buddha preached first sermon, the Archaeological museum, and the Ashok Pillar with 4 lions, built in 3rd Centaury BC., symbolize both Ashoka's imperial rule and the kingship of the Buddha. Return back to Varanasi, evening take a boat ride on the River Ganges and see the various Ghats with people ritually cleansing their sins. While on the boat you will also see the cremation ceremonies of dead bodies as per Hindi Rituals. Return drive back to the hotel for overnight.
17 Day: Varanasi
Early morning take a boat ride for a pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun. The two cremation ghats are Manikarnika & Harishchandra where funeral pyre burns day and night. Later sightseeing tour of the city visiting the Bharat Mata temple, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb built on the site of an ancient Hindu temple. In the evening visit most famous temple is the Kashi Vishvanath, though off-limits to non-Hindus, can be seen from the top floor of the old house opposite it, strolling in narrow lanes of the colourful bazaar of ancient city. Again in the evening take a bost ride on river Ganges. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
18 Day: Varanasi – Khajuraho (By Air)
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to the airport to board the scheduled flight for Khajuraho. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. After some relaxation take a sightseeing tour of Khajuraho, worldly known for its magnificent temples of erotica built between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D. take a visit at fascinating western group of temples. Visit the Laxman Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu, the Laxmi and Varaha temples dedicated to Vishnu’s consort Laxman, the Kandariya Mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Chausath Yogini temple dedicated to goddess Kali. Also visit Archaeological museum with its collection of stone sculptures of the Chandela dynasty. Return to the hotel for overnight.
19 Day: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh (240 Kms – 6 hours)
Early morning visit Eastern group of Temples and visit the Jain temples of Parsvanath, Adinath, and Shanti Nath. Also visit the Panna National Park, 65 kms from Khajuraho. Later checkout and drive to Bandhavgarh. On arrival transfer to the jungle resort. Evening free for relaxation. Optionally if time permits you can enjoy night jungle safari on your own expenses. Overnight at the resort.
20 Day: Bandhavgarh
Early morning jungle safari by open canter. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later trek to Bandhavgarh Fort situated at the highest point of Bandhavgarh hills. Evening walk through Medicinal Plant garden, study conservation practices such as solar cooking, solar water heating, vermin-culture, and study the unique architecture of the Lodge, which is mud huts, and a unique Indian Village. Overnight at the resort.
21 Day: Bandhavgarh – Kanha (212 kms 4 ½ hours)
After breakfast checkout the resort and drive to Kanha National Park, which is one of the most well known tiger reserves worldwide. It's located among the Banjar and Halon valleys in the Mandla / Balaghat districts. It covers a large area of 1,945 square kilometers, out of which 940 square kilometers form the main park. Kanha is also famous for its animal conservation efforts made in collaboration and cooperation with the local resident communities. On arrival at Kanha, check-in resort. Evening will be at leisure. Overnight at the resort.
22 Day: Kanha
Early morning take jungle safari. Return to resort for breakfast. Later the day is free to fulfill your quest on wildlife by visiting the library, the museum and by watching wildlife presentations & movies until afternoon jungle safari. Overnight will be at resort.
23 Day: Kanha – Nagpur (295kms/ 7 hrs) – Mumbai (By Air)
Early morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Nagpur. On arrival transfer to the airport to board the flight for Mumbai. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Later the day is free for Leisure optional you can visit at the ISKON temple and Juhu Beach or can opt for Shopping at the near by mall. Overnight at the hotel in Mumbai.
24 Day: Mumbai
After breakfast takes a sight seeing tour of Bombay, drive to Gateway of India and from here cruise by motorboats to Elephanta Caves. The caves houses large pillars that seem to hold the ceiling which is made of cross beams. The picturesque presentations of the 9 marvelous sculptured panels, set on the walls are awe-inspiring. Later in the afternoon cruise back to Gateway of India. Also visit Prince of Wales Museum, Parliament House, Marine Drive, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens, Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
25 Day: Mumbai – Hometown
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to the international airport to board your scheduled flight back home. Tour ends with happy memories. |
